Acid Rain



ACID RAIN - DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE!










Acid rain is polluting lakes, streams, and even the ocean as a result of burning fossil fuels. This assignment will have you investigate the causes of acid rain, its effects on our environment and you, and what you can do to stop acid rain.

  • How can acid rain be reduced?
  • What can you do to reduce acid rain?



Each group of four must create a presentation using pictures, maps of affected areas, changes of pH in lakes, streams, and the ocean, and graphs of acid rain levels over time. Develop three things you can do to fight acid rain.
